This talented young man was born in West Palm Beach, Florida. He was born to parents, Bob Koepka and Denise Jakows, on May 3, 1990.

Four years after he was born, his parents gave birth to his younger brother Chase Koepka. Although born in West Palm, he was raised in Lake Worth.

 

Brooks attended Cardinal Newman High School in West Palm Beach. At the time of his sixth grade, he made it into his high school’s golf team.

 

When Brooks told his father that he would skip college and would focus on his golf career, he reported that his father nearly crashed the car out of shock.

2020
Due to his knee and hip pain, he withdrew from FedEx Cup and U.S. Open. However, after his two-month break, he is set to return for the 2020-21 season.

After finishing last in the Sentry Tournament of Champions in Kapalua, he stepped away from the game for 15 weeks.

This caused him to miss participating in Masters Tournament, stopping him from winning a four-time winner in the U.S Open at Erin Hills.
