Bobby Lashley is currently out of action with a legitimate shoulder injury during his match with Brock Lesnar at WWE Royal Rumble last month. If he does get surgery then he’s out for at least four months.
WWE did an angle at the Elimination Chamber event where they removed him from the WWE Title Chamber match when it was stated he suffered a concussion.
This allowed Brock Lesnar to win the title.
WWE seemingly pulled him from next Saturday’s MSG show as Lesnar is advertised to defend the WWE Championship against an unnamed opponent as Lashley had been originally advertised to face Lesnar.
Ringside News reports they were told Lashley is trying to get medically cleared, “not only for MSG but for WrestleMania.”
He did undergo medical testing for his shoulder with WWE doctors in Birmingham, Alabama.
This comes after WrestleVotes reported earlier in the week that WrestleMania 38 plans are still ‘very fluid’ and creative is leaving space in nearly every storyline to allow major flexibility.
